MnBaladna: Connecting Local Shops and Customers

About MnBaladna

MnBaladna (من بلدنا, “from our country”) is a delivery marketplace in the Netherlands for the Arab community and for anyone who wants those products nearby. In one website and one Android app, customers order from local stores in four sections: Grocery, Food, Shop and Pharmacy. iPhone users order on web.mnbaladna.com.

We bring together three groups: customers who want familiar products, merchants who want to sell online, and delivery drivers who bring the orders to the door.

1. Where we work

The name means “from our country”. The work today is in the Netherlands, across 371 delivery zones. The site, the apps and support work in English, Arabic, Dutch and German. Customers order familiar products from local stores. Merchants get an online channel without building delivery and payments alone.

2. For customers

  • Order groceries, meals, shop items and pharmacy products from local stores.
  • Order now, or schedule a 60-minute slot when the store offers it. Some stores also offer takeaway.
  • Pay by cash on delivery, iDEAL or card, or the MnBaladna wallet. Guest checkout needs only a name, phone number and address.
  • Follow the driver on the map and confirm delivery with a code.

3. For merchants

Every merchant, on any plan, gets a store website to activate from the dashboard. Orders, products, opening hours, drivers and chat are managed in the MnBaladna Store app and the vendor panel. Annual plans start with a 3-month free trial, or a merchant can use the commission plan. Earnings can be withdrawn to a bank account or PayPal.

4. For delivery drivers

Support is human, not a call centre that never closes. We answer Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00 Amsterdam time, in the four languages above.

6. How the pieces fit

The customer orders. The store prepares. The driver delivers. MnBaladna provides the shared system: the shop window, the order screen, the payment path and the map.
